Notes :

The Company is engaged in single segment, viz., Sugar, the production of which is seasonal in nature. Performance of one quarter is hence not indicative of the trend for whole year.
Steep fall in sugar price has severely dented margin.Such adverse trend continues.
Exceptional items represent Rs.66 lakhs of electricity tax provision reversed pursuant to Supreme Court ruling.
There was no extra-ordinary item and results of all the reporting periods above are audited.
Number of investor complaints for the quarter : Beginning - Nil, Received - 1, Disposed - 1 and Pending - Nil.
The above results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors at the respective meetings held on 26.10.2007.
