Notes :

The Board of Directors have recommended a dividend of 9% on Equity shares.
Steep fall in sugar and molasses prices under adverse market conditions severely eroded and negated margins in Jan-Mar'07 quater. This negative trend is most likely to continue.
Tax Provision for Jan-Mar'07 quater includes Rs.80 lakhs relating to earlier years.
The Company is engaged in single segment, viz., Sugar, the production of which is seasonal in nature.
Details of number of investor complaints for the quarter ended 31-03-2007: Beginning - Nil, Received - 3, Disposed - 3 and Pending - Nil.
The above results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors at the respective meetings held on 08.06.2007.
